Purpose of the Position (Job Summary):

To design and construct pipe systems for transporting gas and oil; perform site surveys, develop designs for pipeline systems, construct and install infrastructure for commercial and industrial purposes.

Shall be responsible for:

• To ensure welding procedures and welders qualification.
• To ensure Availability and suitability of the required material and of the preheating welding, heat treatment and control equipment.
• To ensure Suitability of protection gears and precautionary measures adopted by the welders, both for the preservation of electrodes and for operating in adverse atmospheric condition.
• To ensure Records the numbers of NDT examinations and heat treatment performed.
• To ensure calibrated instruments available at site.
• To ensure Supervises and witnesses inspections, check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and collect file the required quality records.
• To ensure all site activities are carried out according to reference documentation for parts of the plant within his area of responsibility, authorizing there acceptance quality control completion.
• To ensure handling the tasks of preparing and implementing inspection strategies to ensure that pipelines, risers are certified in accordance with the codes of practice and strategies of the organisation. 
• To ensure development of construction plan, plot plan, equipment layout, piping routing, piping isometric, pipe support design, field mapping and system schematics. 
• To ensure and co operate event report management and for all the implementation relative corrective actions. Systematically record the nonconformity or event report issued and identifies appropriate corrective action.

People Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Site Team and Sub Contractors
• Monitor adherence to company policies by team members.
